George Zimmerman Juror Says 'In Our Hearts, We Felt He Was Guilty'

The only minority on the all-female jury that voted to acquit George Zimmerman said today that Zimmerman "got away with murder" for killing Trayvon Martin and feels she owes an apology Martin's parents. "You can't put the man in jail even though in our hearts we felt he was guilty," said the woman who was identified only as Juror B29 during the trial. "But we had to grab our hearts and put it aside and look at the evidence." She said the jury was following Florida law and the evidence, she said, did not prove murder. Watch More of the Interview Thursday on "World News" at 6:30 p.m. ET and on "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m. ET, and then on Friday on "Good Morning America" at 7 a.m. ET The court had sealed the jurors' identities during the trial and still hasn't lifted the order, but Juror B29 edged out of the shadows in an exclusive interview with "Good Morning America" anchor Robin Roberts. She allowed her face to be shown, but -- concerned for her safety -- used only a first name of Maddy READ MORE

Juror B37, Mark O’Mara and Jury Tampering

3CHICSPOLITICO

When Sharlene Martin announced that Juror B37 and her husband intended to write a book of her experience on the jury in the George Zimmerman case, it caused me to revisit Juror B37’s voir dire.  Sharlene Martin, now former literary agent for Juror B37, wrote that the jury in the George Zimmerman case decided he was not guilty “…due to the manner in which he was charged…”  Immediately, I remembered that Juror B37 referred to rallies and peaceful protests as “riots.”

Florida Artist Boycott Picking Up Steam

George Zimmerman is not the only criminal in Florida.

The state’s government is having their feet held to the fire for the way they’ve chosen to translate the Stand Your Ground law into the acquittal of Zimmerman and false imprisonment of Marissa Alexander.
The EURweb reported that Mary Mary have joined with Stevie Wonder to boycott Florida until they abolish the law.
And the call to action has been heard and more of music’s heavyweights are answering the call and cancelling their concerts and standing with the socially conscious, legendary balladeer, according to veteran White House correspondent April D. Ryan of the White House Report.

Zimmerman used the N word!

ZIMMERMAN USED THE N WORD IN HIS TEXT MESSAGES

IIRC, this was sealed by Judge Lester and the state was in agreement
with the defense, that it should be SEALED UNTIL THE TRIAL, and
then they turned around and never used it. IMO, the prosecution threw
this case on purpose at the urging of the governor of Florida.

BTW: "Creepy Assed Cracker" in the usage of the kids in Miami,  means
the "Unsub" in the parlance of famed FBI tv profilers.  It is not a racist
term,  it is the kids way of identifying dangerous stalkers they see on tv.

ABOUT JURY TAMPERING

HERE'S A BLOG POST ABOUT JURY TAMPERING LAW

Someone above gave the link about Jury Tampering:

In response to whether the Zimmerman trial can be retried, Nathan replies:

“Actually yes, it can. In cases of jury tampering, the entire verdict can be
thrown out and the whole case retried, per the laws of the state of Florida.”
“I checked the books, Florida has a statute of up to three years for such a
mistrial declaration.”

New Accusations Against Zimmerman Jurors As Sheriffs Office Admits It Allowed Unsupervised Access  (requires a download toolbar to watch).

Here’s a great discussion with Jim Clemente, a retired FBI agent and current advisor, writer and producer for the TV series “Criminal Minds.” It’s long: 51 minutes. He says that racial profiling is the opposite of criminal profiling, which I find particularly interesting since “racial profiling” was changed to “profiling” during the trial. He thinks the prosecution made many major mistakes.
