George Zimmerman shot by guy he once threatened to ‘fucking kill’

The man who shot at George Zimmerman Monday afternoon in Lake Mary, Florida, had previously been involved in a road rage incident with Zimmerman last September, according to police spokesperson Bianca Gillet.

You may remember Matthew Apperson as the man who Zimmerman allegedly asked “Do you know who I am?” before saying “I’ll fucking kill you.”

Police report that at around 1:00 PM E.S.T. Monday, Zimmerman flagged down a Lake Mary police officer and told him he had been involved in a shooting. At the same time, 911 received a a phone call from Apperson to report similar information.

Police are currently awaiting council to interview both parties. No arrests have been made or charges brought, and there is no word on what the cause of the incident was.
Zimmerman’s contentious relationship with Apperson dates back to last September. Apperson said he was listening to music in his car at a red light when the driver in a truck stopped next to him rolled down his window and started yelling at him.

“George Zimmerman was the driver, and they were threatening to kick my ass and to shoot me,” Apperson told police dispatch in a phone call after pulling into a nearby gas station, where he was allegedly followed by Zimmerman and his passenger.  READ MORE

George Zimmerman fears for his life, plans to leave Florida

George Zimmerman has once again gone into hiding and tells friends he is “badly shaken” after being shot at by Matthew Apperson Monday in Lake Mary, Florida.

According to the Daily Mail, the acquitted killer has told friends close to him that “he feels lucky to be alive” and that “God was watching over him” the day he reportedly waived a gun at Apperson in the third of such encounters between the two men — which according to Apperson had previously included Zimmerman stalking him while armed and threatening to “fucking kill” him.

While Zimmerman acknowledges that he could’ve been killed when Apperson fired a shot into the driver’s side window of Zimmerman’s truck, he told friends “It just wasn’t my time to go.”

But apparently “go” he just might. Zimmerman said that the near brush with death has him considering relocating from Florida, where he has continued to live since being acquitted in the murder of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin in 2013. Friends have said that the former self-appointed neighborhood watchman, who has now been accused of obsessively stalking two individuals, one of whom he killed, is “constantly looking over his shoulder fearful that someone will try to attack him.”

“George tries to stay indoors as much as possible,” a friend says. “He sweats an awful lot when he is around other people as he is so nervous.”

This paranoia, which has caused Zimmerman’s marriage to fail, kept him from finding a job, and results in panic attacks whenever he is in public, may currently be less deluded than when it drove him to follow the 17-year-old Martin through his neighborhood against police orders. There are many who no doubt have little sympathy for a man who expresses no guilt over killing a child while comparing his ideals to those of Anne Frank.  READ MORE

Deputies: George Zimmerman charged with assault, battery after dispute at girlfriend's home

APOPKA, Fla. –  George Zimmerman was charged Monday with assault after deputies were called to the home where he lived with his girlfriend, who claimed he pointed a shotgun at her during an argument, authorities said.

Zimmerman pushed the woman out of the house and barricaded the door with furniture, Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma said at a news conference hours after the arrest. She provided deputies with a key to the home and they were able to push the door that had been barricaded.

Lemma says Zimmmerman was compliant when deputies came to the house.

"The easiest way to describe it is rather passive. He's had the opportunity to encounter this before," he said.
Zimmerman was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, battery and criminal mischief.

He was arrested at his home,  nothing further yet.

George Zimmerman REPORTEDLY ARRESTED Domestic Incident in Orlando

 Cops in Orlando, FL responded to a domestic violence incident involving George Zimmerman ... this according to law enforcement.

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office has confirmed ... Zimmerman is involved in the incident -- but cops are not releasing details.

There are reports that Zimmerman has been arrested -- but so far, TMZ has not been able to confirm.

Zimmerman has had multiple run-ins with cops ever since he was acquitted of murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin back in July.

GOPer Says He’d Vote to Allow Slavery if Constituents Wanted It

*A Nevada assemblyman came under fire Monday after a YouTube video surfaced in which he told a Republican gathering he would vote to allow slavery if that is what his constituents wanted him to do.

"If that's what they wanted, I'd have to hold my nose ... they'd probably have to hold a gun to my head, but yeah," Assemblyman Jim Wheeler told members of the Storey County Republican Party at a meeting in August.

His comments were swiftly denounced by Republicans and Democrats alike.

"Assemblyman Wheeler's comments are deeply offensive and have no place in our society," Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval said in a statement. "He should retract his remarks and apologize."

U.S. Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev., called Wheeler's comments "insensitive and wrong," while the Assembly Democratic caucus said they were "reprehensible and disgusting."

Senate Minority Leader Michael Roberson, R-Henderson, on Twitter said Wheeler's comments are "outrageous, they are embarrassing and they are just plain sad."

"It's time for Jim Wheeler to find a new line of work," Roberson said. READ MORE
