The Center for the Study of Race and Race Relations’ 10th annual Spring Lecture & Panel Discussions, “At Close Range: The Curious Case of Trayvon Martin,” will feature New York Times visual op-ed columnist Charles Blow.
Participants include UF faculty and graduate students from history,
journalism, African-American studies, sociology, anthropology, law,
education, political science, English, philosophy and health services
research. Panelists will discuss a range of topics including racial bias
and media perspectives and will recommend policy changes.
