Examining the Evidence in the George Zimmerman Case - Feb 8, 2013

I think you defeat your own argument when you at the same time, on the one hand argue that “ Actually, he’s not wrong on anything I can tell”, and on the other hand that “He is MISSING a lot, but what he speaks to seems factually correct”.
By the way, this “expert” did his demo standing face to face with his “victim”, both hands fully stretched and aimed at the “victim’s” heart. GZ claims that he was lying on his back with Trayvon mounted on his stomach, straddling, suffocating him, etc. Also, when the kill shot was fired, GZ’s elbow was on the ground, bent and extended to the right away from his body. From that position, GZ could not have made the same shot produced in the demo of this “expert”. There is NO SUBSTANTIVE relationship between the demo of this “expert” and the Zimmerman-scenario. Applying the results of the demo to GZ is a serious non-sequitur (no relationship between premise and conclusion; conclusion does not logically flow/follw from the premise). Based on that it is also hard to see how this “expert” “seems factually correct” (whatever you mean by that).

blogs have been talking about the "Tapes". The surveillance tapes of
Kohl's, Sam's Club, and Lake Edge Apts. It's like Nixon all over
again, except it's the "video tapes", not just audio tapes. The
speculations and outright lies regarding Trayvon Martin now have him
looking into cars, casing houses, etc. We know these are the common
tactics used by the Pro-Z camps. The perceived notion that a young
black teenager had to be doing SOMETHING in order to justify, in their
sick twisted minds, being killed by the hands of George Zimmerman.

THE GIST
- Biometric voice analysis is the new fingerprinting.- Software can compare voices to a high degree of scientific certainty.

In classic whodunnit mysteries, detectives and FBI agents dust for fingerprints to solve mysteries and collect court-admissible evidence.
In real life, it's more often the voice that offers the tell-tale evidence, since technology to recognize voices in recordings has become so much more sophisticated.
The Feb. 26 recording of a 911 call by a woman who reported someone crying out for help in her gated community in Sanford, Fla., could be a key piece of evidence in the Trayvon Martin murder case, especially since she called early enough so that screams for help and the gunshot were recorded.
George Zimmerman, a Neighborhood Watch volunteer, shot Martin, an unarmed 17-year-old. Why he did so remains a hotly argued topic, with Zimmerman claiming Martin attacked and beat him.

New Forensic Analysis Makes Damning Conclusions For George Zimmerman

So what is this new forensic analysis? It shows George Zimmerman’s concocted story is not true or accurate to the death scene details, 9-11 call timelines and testimony:
Among his conclusions:I must point out that the last bullet is not conclusive and most likely wrong, and it will backfire on Zimmerman’s case. As presented in this story and accompanying video, a simulated firing against test clothing shows nothing more than a 3″ gap between the hoodie and Trayvon’s chest. That is the only sound conclusion. The jump to the uninformed conclusion that this 3″gap means Trayvon was sitting astride Zimmerman, with his shirt hanging down is wrong. Demonstrably wrong.
- If Zimmerman’s retelling of the event were accurate, the confrontation Zimmerman described with Martin would have occurred much sooner than it actually did;
- Zimmerman covered more time and distance after leaving his truck that night than he revealed to police;
- based on the times and distances Zimmerman said he covered, Zimmerman would have still been on the phone with Sanford police when he claims he was attacked by Martin;
- had Martin walked directly to his destination, his father’s girlfriend’s townhome, he would have made it there safely before Zimmerman ended his nonemergency call to Sanford police;
- Martin was in fact leaning over Zimmerman when the fatal shot was fired, just as Zimmerman has maintained.
This is not the only position from which this arrangement of hoodie and chest can be achieved. Moreover, the bullet’s path (if we have the right trajectory) won’t support the story’s conclusion. I noted this in a post back when the first round of evidence showed up. First off, understand the mechanics of the human body and human arm when firing a gun. When on your back, with elbow against the ground (as Zimmerman himself testified), there is only a small range of trajectories a bullet will travel.
